PestPac answering service: overflow and after-hours calls for multi-branch pest control
In short
PestPac by WorkWave is the software larger pest control companies run branches on. It doesn't answer phones. Local Call AI covers the overflow when your CSRs are busy and every call after they go home: it sorts a real-estate termite inspection from a hornet nest by the front door, routes by branch, and logs everything. On Connected it integrates with your existing PestPac account.
PestPac runs the branches. Your CSRs still go home at 5.
PestPac, from WorkWave, is pest control management software built for operators with real back offices. Its customer logos include national and regional names such as Terminix and Truly Nolen. It handles termite inspections, integrated pest management, multi-unit properties, routing, billing and accounting, with customer communications and lead management on its Professional and Enterprise plans and multi-branch management on Enterprise. WorkWave markets it as AI-powered; that AI, Wavelytics, is analytics across your data, not a voice on the phone. PestPac doesn't publish prices.
A PestPac shop usually has CSRs already. The gaps are the hours they aren't there and the minutes they're all on another line.
Calls a pest control CSR team can't catch
- Overflow at 9am Monday, when every branch's phones light up after the weekend
- After-hours residential calls: a wasp nest by the front door, a mouse in the kitchen, a bed bug discovery at 11pm
- Commercial accounts with a health inspection or an audit coming, who need someone on site before opening
- Termite inspection requests tied to a real-estate closing, where the date is the whole story
- New-customer quote requests from your website and ads, at all hours
Local Call AI asks what your CSRs would: the property address and type (house, apartment, restaurant, warehouse), the pest and where it is, the deadline, and for commercial callers the account name and their role. It routes by branch using the service areas you give it, so a caller in one county reaches that branch's on-call tech. Urgent calls go out the fastest way your plan allows: an email alert on Standard, a text on Connected, a live transfer on Concierge. Inspection requests with a closing date are logged with the date front and center.
Overflow without a hold queue
You choose when Local Call AI picks up: only after hours, or also when your CSRs don't answer within a few rings. It answers every simultaneous call, so the Monday-morning pile gets answered rather than queued. Each call's transcript and summary arrive in the portal for your CSRs to work when they're free.
How it fits with PestPac
On the Connected plan ($497 a month, 500 minutes, $0.35 a minute after), Local Call AI integrates with your existing PestPac account, set up during onboarding, so calls reach the system your CSRs already work in rather than a separate inbox. It doesn't schedule PestPac services during the call or read your PestPac routes. Concierge (from $750 a month, 1,000 minutes) adds returning-customer recognition and emergency live transfer, which matter most at multi-branch volume. English and Spanish are on every plan.

Frequently asked questions
- Does Local Call AI work with PestPac?
- Yes. On the Connected plan it integrates with your existing PestPac account, set up during onboarding. It doesn't schedule PestPac services during the call or read your routes; your CSRs work the calls from there.
- Does PestPac include an AI phone receptionist?
- Not that WorkWave lists. PestPac is marketed as AI-powered, but that refers to Wavelytics analytics. Its pricing page, checked October 2026, lists customer communications and lead management but no call answering.
- Can it route calls to the right branch?
- Yes. It uses the service areas you give it to send each urgent call to that branch's on-call tech, and labels every logged call with the branch.
- Can it cover only overflow and after-hours calls?
- Yes. Forward unanswered calls after a few rings, after hours, or both. It answers every simultaneous call, so nothing waits in a hold queue.
- How does it handle termite inspections for home sales?
- It captures the address, the closing or inspection deadline, and who's ordering it (buyer, seller or agent), and logs the request with the date up front.
- How much does it cost?
- Standard is $297 a month with 250 minutes, Connected $497 with 500 and Concierge from $750 with 1,000, all with $0.35 a minute past the allowance and no setup fee. PestPac's own pricing is by consultation.
