ServiceTitan pricing in 2026: what it costs, and what ServiceTitan doesn't list
ServiceTitan does not publish a price for any package. Third-party guides report roughly $245 to $500 per technician per month, plus a one-time implementation, and its AI Virtual Agent is a separate Pro product sold by quote.
In short
As of October 2026, ServiceTitan's pricing page lists three packages (Starter, Essentials and The Works), each with a "Request Pricing" button and no dollar figure. It says pricing is per technician. Two pricing guides published by competing software companies report about $245–$300 (Starter), $300–$400 (Essentials) and $400–$500 (The Works) per technician per month, an implementation fee they put at $5,000 to $50,000+, and an annual minimum. ServiceTitan has not confirmed any of it. The AI Virtual Agent that answers and books calls isn't inside any of the three packages; it's listed under "Pro" products, with no published price. What ServiceTitan's own pricing page says
We read servicetitan.com/pricing on October 11, 2026. Here is everything it commits to in writing:
| Package | ServiceTitan's description | Features highlighted | Published price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | "Get started with the must-have tools for your business." | Dispatching, scheduling, call booking, invoicing, pricebook | None ("Request Pricing") |
| Essentials | "Streamline your operations with industry-leading features." | Starter's list plus mobile estimates and payroll management | None ("Request Pricing") |
| The Works | "Accelerate your growth with the full ServiceTitan suite." | Adds configurable payroll, advanced reporting, commission tracking, customizable memberships | None ("Request Pricing") |
The feature split is our reading of the page layout: some items appear under every package and only some are highlighted. ServiceTitan's sales team decides what's in your contract.
The page also says the pricing is "per-technician." It doesn't mention an implementation fee or a contract length. Under a separate "Get more with Pro" heading it lists add-on products, including Contact Center Pro and the AI Virtual Agent, again without prices.
"Call booking" in every package means ServiceTitan's tools for your CSRs to book a call they answer. It isn't an AI that answers the phone. That's the AI Virtual Agent, covered below.
How much does ServiceTitan cost per technician?
Because ServiceTitan doesn't publish numbers, every figure you'll see online comes from somebody else. The two most detailed guides we found repeat the same bands. Both are published by companies that sell competing software, which you should keep in mind:
| Package | Reported per tech, per month | 5 technicians, per month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $245–$300 | $1,225–$1,500 |
| Essentials | $300–$400 | $1,500–$2,000 |
| The Works | $400–$500 | $2,000–$2,500 |
| Implementation (one time) | $5,000 to $50,000+, reported as a third-party estimate | |
Per-tech bands as reported by Fieldproxy's ServiceTitan pricing guide (which says it was verified June 5, 2026 and labels each figure a third-party estimate) and Projul's 2026 ServiceTitan pricing analysis (which says ServiceTitan "has never confirmed" them). Both checked October 11, 2026. The 5-technician column is our multiplication.
Other reports disagree with those bands, some by a lot, so treat them as a rough sense of scale. The same two guides report a 12-month minimum, and Fieldproxy says users report renewal increases. Projul cites one 2024 G2 reviewer who put their implementation at "nearly $25,000." What's consistent across every source we read: the subscription is per technician, implementation is a separate, large, one-time cost, and add-ons like Marketing Pro and Phones Pro are priced on top.
What is the ServiceTitan AI Virtual Agent, and which package includes it?
ServiceTitan's AI Virtual Agent page (sometimes searched as the "AI voice agent") describes an agent that greets callers, gathers their information, and books jobs "according to job type, location, required skill sets, and more." It confirms and reschedules existing appointments and transfers the call to a live CSR when it recognizes a person is needed. ServiceTitan says it can run alongside your current phone system or as part of Contact Center Pro, and that implementation "only takes 20 minutes."
ServiceTitan reports a 70% overall booking rate (90% capacity-adjusted) from a pilot program, with the disclaimer that early results may vary. Those are ServiceTitan's numbers, not ours.
On which package includes it: none of the three, according to the pricing page. It sits under "Get more with Pro," and neither the pricing page nor the product page lists a price. If someone tells you the AI comes "with Pro tier," ask which contract line it is on and what it costs per month. Pro is a family of add-on products, not a fourth package.
Worked example: a 5-truck shop that wants every call answered
Here's the decision we hear most from ServiceTitan shops: "Our CSRs miss calls at lunch, after 5 and on weekends. Do we buy ServiceTitan's AI, move up a package, or add something outside ServiceTitan?" The numbers below use the reported bands above, so they're estimates, and they assume five technicians and 200 inbound calls a month at about 2.5 minutes each (500 minutes). Swap in your own call log.
| Path | Added monthly cost | What you get, and the catch |
|---|---|---|
| A. Stay on Essentials, add the AI Virtual Agent | Not published; quote from ServiceTitan | An AI that books jobs by job type, location and skill set and lives inside ServiceTitan. The catch: you can't price it until sales quotes it, and it may come bundled with Contact Center Pro. |
| B. Move up to The Works | About $500 (roughly $100 per tech at the reported midpoints) | Configurable payroll, advanced reporting, commissions and memberships. Per the pricing page, it doesn't add the AI Virtual Agent, so this path doesn't answer the phone. |
| C. Stay on Essentials, add Local Call AI Standard | $384.50 at 500 minutes ($297 for 250 minutes, plus 250 × $0.35) | Every call answered 24/7 in English or Spanish, qualified, and booked on your Google Calendar or Cal.com calendar or taken as a detailed callback request, with the transcript in your portal and an email alert. The catch: your CSR still creates the job in ServiceTitan. |
| D. Stay on Essentials, voicemail after hours | $0 | Callers who don't leave a message call the next company. Cheap on paper only. |
Honest caveats on path C, which is ours:
- It doesn't touch your ServiceTitan board. Local Call AI integrates with your existing ServiceTitan account on request during onboarding, but it does not put jobs on the ServiceTitan dispatch board and does not see your ServiceTitan capacity. ServiceTitan's own agent does both. If booking straight into capacity is the requirement, path A is the one built for it.
- Minutes are metered. 200 calls is past the 250-minute Standard allowance, so the bill is $384.50, not $297. At 300 calls (750 minutes) it's $472. Connected ($497, 500 minutes) costs more than Standard plus overage at these volumes; you'd move up for text alerts to the on-call tech, not for minutes.
- Emergency live transfer is a Concierge feature (from $750/month with 1,000 minutes). On Standard, urgent calls reach you by email alert the moment the call ends.
- The 70% booking figure isn't comparable. We don't publish a booking rate, and ServiceTitan's is from its own pilot. Compare the two by calling both with the same five calls (below).
Where path C wins: you know the price before you talk to anyone, it's month-to-month with no setup fee, and it keeps working if you ever leave ServiceTitan. Where it loses: anything that depends on live ServiceTitan data during the call. More on how the two run side by side is on our ServiceTitan answering service page.
ServiceTitan alternatives, priced where the vendor publishes a price
If the quote is the problem rather than the phone, these are the field-service platforms smaller home-service shops usually compare. Prices are as listed on each vendor's pricing page, checked October 2026:
| Platform | Listed price | Its own AI phone answering |
|---|---|---|
| ServiceTitan | Not published (per technician) | AI Virtual Agent, a Pro product, price not published |
| Jobber | Core from $29/mo (1 user, billed annually); Plus from $399/mo (5 users, billed annually) | AI Receptionist: $29/mo add-on with 30 conversations, $0.79 each after; included on Plus |
| Housecall Pro | $59 / $149 / $299 per month (Basic / Essentials / MAX, billed annually) | CSR AI, an add-on with no published price |
Jobber's figures are from its pricing page and its Receptionist help article; Housecall Pro's from its pricing page. We cover both receptionists in detail in our Jobber AI Receptionist review and Housecall Pro CSR AI review. Switching platforms is a bigger decision than any phone add-on: price your data migration and retraining too. If you're weighing ServiceTitan against hiring nothing at all, our Local Call AI vs ServiceTitan comparison covers who needs a dispatch platform and who just needs the phone answered.
Questions to put in writing before you sign
- Per-tech price, and who counts as a tech. Do office staff, apprentices or seasonal techs need a license?
- Implementation fee and timeline. What's included, and what costs extra (data migration, pricebook build, training)?
- Contract length and renewal terms. Is there a cap on the renewal increase?
- The AI Virtual Agent's price and billing unit. Per call, per minute, per seat, or flat? Does it require Contact Center Pro?
- What happens at your busiest month's volume. Ask for the bill at last July's or last January's call count, not an average.
Five calls to test any AI answering option
Whichever path you pick, call it yourself before you rely on it:
- A no-heat or no-water call at 9pm on a Saturday, described in plain words. Does it escalate, or book Monday?
- A commercial customer asking for a PO-numbered visit.
- A caller who switches to Spanish halfway through.
- "Can I talk to a person?"
- A price question you don't want answered on the phone.
Our guide to testing an AI receptionist has the scorecard. For the wider market, from per-minute live services to flat-rate AI, see answering service cost and virtual receptionist pricing.
Answer every call without renegotiating your ServiceTitan contract.
Local Call AI works alongside your existing ServiceTitan account. $297/mo with 250 minutes included and $0.35/min after, English and Spanish on every plan, month-to-month with no setup fee and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does ServiceTitan cost?
- ServiceTitan doesn't publish a price. Its pricing page lists Starter, Essentials and The Works with a Request Pricing button on each and says pricing is per technician. As of October 2026, pricing guides from Fieldproxy and Projul (both sell competing software) report about $245 to $300 per technician per month for Starter, $300 to $400 for Essentials and $400 to $500 for The Works, plus an implementation fee they estimate at $5,000 to $50,000 or more. ServiceTitan hasn't confirmed those figures, so get a written quote.
- How much does ServiceTitan cost for a 5-technician shop?
- On the reported bands, about $1,225 to $1,500 a month on Starter, $1,500 to $2,000 on Essentials and $2,000 to $2,500 on The Works, before implementation and add-ons. Those are third-party estimates multiplied by five, not ServiceTitan's numbers.
- Does ServiceTitan have a setup or implementation fee?
- The pricing page doesn't mention one, but every third-party guide we read describes a separate one-time implementation. Fieldproxy and Projul put it at $5,000 to $50,000 or more depending on size and complexity, and Projul cites one 2024 G2 reviewer who paid nearly $25,000. Ask for it in writing.
- Which ServiceTitan package includes the AI Virtual Agent?
- None of the three, according to ServiceTitan's pricing page as of October 2026. The AI Virtual Agent is listed under Get more with Pro, alongside Contact Center Pro, and no price is published. ServiceTitan says it can run alongside your current phone system or as part of Contact Center Pro.
- Is ServiceTitan month-to-month?
- Its pricing page doesn't state contract terms. Third-party guides report a 12-month minimum. Confirm the term and the renewal increase with ServiceTitan before you sign.
- What are the cheaper ServiceTitan alternatives?
- Jobber and Housecall Pro publish their prices. As listed in October 2026, Jobber Core starts at $29 a month billed annually for one user and Plus at $399 a month for five users, and Housecall Pro is $59, $149 or $299 a month (Basic, Essentials, MAX) billed annually. Both have their own AI phone add-ons: Jobber's AI Receptionist is $29 a month for 30 conversations or included on Plus, and Housecall Pro's CSR AI has no published price.
- Can I use Local Call AI instead of the ServiceTitan AI Virtual Agent?
- Yes, alongside ServiceTitan. Local Call AI integrates with your existing ServiceTitan account and answers every call 24/7 in English or Spanish. It does not put jobs on the ServiceTitan dispatch board or see your ServiceTitan capacity: it books on your Google Calendar or Cal.com calendar or takes a detailed callback request, and your CSR creates the job. Standard is $297 a month with 250 minutes and $0.35 a minute after. If you need the AI to book into ServiceTitan capacity during the call, ServiceTitan's own agent is built for that.
